My Story

Imagine being born in one of Turkey's chilliest cities, only to feel the pull towards the lively atmosphere of Istanbul at 15. This marked the true start of my journey. I am Yasemin Akaydin Miller, and my tale is one of passion, determination, and an unwavering pursuit of perfection.

My background in architecture provided the groundwork for my career. However, everything changed during a crucial moment in the Ritz-Carlton Istanbul project. Tasked with managing the procurement of OS&E (Operational Supplies & Equipment), I delved into a realm where every detail held significance. From linens to engineering tools, the tasks were extensive, the obstacles were tangible, but the gratification was beyond measure.

My path took me to Dubai, where I refined my expertise as a senior project manager before establishing Furnish Hospitality. Developing a customized procurement system allowed me to explore the nuances of the industry further. Yet, another chapter unfolded that centered on motherhood and a strong aspiration to reshape procurement practices.
